\u201cShe\u2019s a patient coordinator or something.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I called the next day and the voice on the other end of the line sounded frantic. I could hear a crowd in the background and the first question he asked me after introducing myself was:<\/p>\n

\u201cWho gave you my personal number?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

I paused and gave her the name. She looked surprised and said she would call me as soon as she could, as she was on her way home on a crowded subway.<\/p>\n

I waited anxiously, pacing back and forth in our living room.<\/p>\n

When he finally called back that night, we talked for one hour<\/strong> about the process and their work. In the end, we agreed to schedule a formal meeting Zoom<\/strong> the next day. Minutes later, she confirmed the appointment and informed us that the owner of FertyCare<\/strong>Vicky would also join the meeting.<\/p>\n

We don't know if it was his tone, his way of expressing himself or his personality, but from the first moment we felt that Vicky was the right person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We felt understood. Maybe it was because of the years of research we had under our belts, but this meeting gave us much more than just the basics.<\/p>\n

We didn't know the costs yet, but by the end of the call, Papi Martin and I knew this was going to happen<\/strong>. We were willing to give up all our material possessions<\/strong> to make it possible.<\/p>\n
